The PCR Awards Timeline

Entries for the PCR Awards will open on Monday 30th October.

The entry criteria have been specifically developed in consultation with key members of the industry to make sure that we are asking for the right information.

Please be aware that we need you to provide the information required at each stage of the entry; failure to provide such information will result in your entry being disqualified. We need all the entries to be complete according to our criteria in order to make sure the judges can score each part of the entry adequately, and the right and fair winner is determined. We know this seems like a lot of effort, but nothing worth having comes easily!

Stage 2: Entries Close

The entry deadline is Monday 4th December at 12am. All entries must be received by the entry deadline stated on the website.

Entries must be received through the website using the online entry forms. Entries received by email / attachments or post will not be entered and will be disqualified from the process.

If you think you will miss the deadline due to extenuating circumstances, please try and let the Awards team know in advance. Last minute requests for deadlines will not be accepted. You can contact the PCR Awards team on eventsteamuk@nbmedia.com.

Stage 3: Shortlist announced

The shortlist is decided by the PCR editorial team. They are exceedingly well qualified to do so as journalists at the frontline of these industries. In the event of a very high number of strong entries for a particular category, the editorial team will consult with industry experts to determine the shortlist.

Shortlisted companies will receive shortlisted logos, and social media support from the PCR Awards team.

Stage 4: The Judging Process

The PCR Awards will be judged by a specialist judging panel of expert representatives from throughout the channel.

Judges will be asked to score each entry on scale of 1-10 against the criteria specified for each entry. These scores will then be collated and averaged to determine the winner. This scoring process ensures that each judge takes the time to read every entry, and that the emphasis is placed on the quality of the entries against the criteria.

If a judge has a conflict of interest or bias on an entry, they will recuse themselves from marking that particular entry, and this will be taken into account when calculating the winner.

Stage 5: Winners announced

The PCR Awards 2018 winners will be announced on the 7th March 2018 at The Brewery, Central London.
