Oliver Thompson is Executive Product Manager for the BBC, where he leads the product strategy for the BBC’s digital live event platform. Alongside the online coverage of events including the Royal Wedding, World Cup, Glastonbury and the Olympics, his team work on new directions in live digital content.

With a background in news and sport journalism, Oliver has over 18 years experience in digital media, working on product and content strategy at companies including the Press Association and Feed Communications.
