Saul Mahoney began entered the film industry as an assistant Technical manager at Columbia Tristar Films (UK) in 1990. Walt Disney Studios beckoned in 1994 as the film industry began it’s adoption of digital technology, firstly in sound (circa 1992) and eventually with the breakthrough of digital projection in the late 90’s. This period of conversion from analogue to digital for the film industry presented many challenges and Saul was best placed at Disney to advance the cause for digitisation in the movie distribution, from producing live events, most notably Prince Caspian at the O2 arena with an audience of 10,000 for a single screening, to pushing digital delivery infrastructure with 3rd Party vendors across EMEA. Saul is now Business Development Director at Sundog Media Toolkit, advancing post production into the cloud.
