Casper Choffat is Manager of R&D and Lead System Architect of managed services provider NEP in the Netherlands. As an experienced R&D manager, Casper is at the forefront of customised national and international projects, partnering closely with clients and applying specific client information to design tailored architecture as required. Casper has co-designed large-scale stand-alone broadcast infrastructure for NEP and NEP’s Cloud Production platform. Major projects where Casper has been integral to success include FOX Sports Playout, Ziggo Sport Playout and the implementation of the Tedial Enterprise MAM for NEP’s Digital Media Services (DMS). He is a proven innovator in creative technology and leads the R&D team behind the entirely new Remote Commentary solution for localizing content, which was used by Discovery and its leading sports brand Eurosport at the Olympics. Casper holds dual Swiss and Dutch nationality, has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and studied at the Berlin School of Economics. He speaks fluent English and German in addition to his native Dutch.
