Chris Mehers brings a solid background of senior commercial management, having worked as CEO of doublesix digital publishing, Managing Director of Black Bean Games, as well as being one of the founders and Commercial Director of the successful digital distribution start up Green Man Gaming Ltd.
He started his career in video games in 1997 at Sony Pygnosis, working on many of the titles that launched the Playstation brand in Europe. Chris went on to run sales and marketing campaigns for major franchises across Europe and export territories for SCi PLC and Eidos PLC. After the purchase of Eidos by SCi, Chris help set up a console publisher Black Bean Games, as well as consulting to developers and brands looking to navigate the commercial realities of video games publishing in a fast changing environment. Chris joined Born Ready Games soon after its Management buy-out as the Chief Commercial Officer, bringing publishing and commercial experience to the team.
Chris is COO of Edge Case Games, ensuring structure, organisation and financial diligence, while working hard with the CEO to deliver the strategy.
