The NewBay Best of Show at IBC2017 winners have been announced: did your product make the cut?

The NewBay Best of Show Awards at IBC are supported by six of our brands, enabling the programme to cover the breadth of focus embodied by IBC exhibitors, while maintaining strict focus in each of the awards categories.
The Best of Show Awards provide the perfect platform to draw attention to the new products and services that your company will be launching at IBC, and cut through the noise and chatter of 1,500+ exhibitors and attendees.
After an unprecedented number of entries in 2016, the NewBay Best of Show Awards are evolving for 2017, with a new entry process, new guidelines and a pre-show shortlist announcement for the first time! 

What’s new for 2017?

  • New entry timeline – we’re opening earlier than ever for entries, giving you more time to get everything together and put forward the products that you think deserve recognition this year. 
  • The Shortlist! Our NewBay Best of Show at IBC shortlist will be announced on 8th September. Only products that are shortlisted will be visited at the show, and be in with a chance of winning one of the coveted Best of Show Awards.
  • New judging process – all entries will be independently judged first on the quality of the submissions prior to the show, and those deemed to most successfully fit the new entry criteria will be placed on the Best of Show shortlist. Shortlisted entries will then be visited by judges at the show, and assessed live, before winners are announced.
  • The Best of Show supplement – Only shortlisted entries will feature in the Best of Show supplement that is released one week after the conclusion of the show, with winners receiving both a profile and an embedded product video in this supplement. All entries will receive a mention in the Best of Show Product Directory, which will be published one month following the event. Both these supplements are delivered to readers of all these top industry brands post-show.

Keep the focus on your new products after the show: All shortlisted companies will feature in the Best of Show supplement, released one week after the end of the show, with a 500-word summary about their shortlisted product. Winners will also receive a proper award on site at the show, and the opportunity to provide a video segment about their winning product to be embedded in the Best of Show supplement.
